Bud and Irene Frost spent 57 years in the supper club business. At the eponymous Bud’s Supper Club, with its red façade nestled among the trees, they served steaks, seafood, and late-night breakfast amid Irene’s perfectly appointed backdrop. The Gingerbread House Café was a perfectly charming stop for coffee and pie.

As anyone who has worked in hospitality knows, it is a language of care: produce grown by the farmer down the road, linens pressed to our matriarch’s standards, beverages served shaken, not stirred (with a twist, not an olive), just to the customer’s preference. The act of paying attention is just as important as what is remembered.

Some of our most meaningful moments as humans take place at a table: birthdays, anniversaries, quiet Wednesdays, and last calls that turn into long goodbyes. A supper club carries those moments with it. At Frosty’s, it’s our family’s legacy we serve.
